Spring News!
Good morning Riptides family,
In response to the FB poll for practice during Spring Break, the result of the poll is to NOT hold practice today or Monday, March 30th. Additionally, there will be no practice on next week on Friday, April 3rd due to the Aqua Egg Hunt event by MWR in the MB pool from 16:00 (4pm) until 17:00 (5pm). Practices will resume on Monday, April 6th.
For everyone's planning, we are a GO for holding our bake sale in front of the main NEX on Saturday, April 11th from 12:00pm until 13:00 (1pm). Jobs are open in Swimtopia for sign-up; for the set up and clean up, we will need about 3 or 4 volunteers; for those interested in providing baked goods, after you sign up in Swimtopia, please email me what you intend on bringing NLT Sunday, April 5th so I can consolidate and ensure we don't have 6 families show with the same item; and lastly, this one isn't mandatory or required, but if any of your athletes would like to show their creativity by making promotional signs and banners for April 11th, their creativity is encouraged.
Just to put a plug in for our upcoming swim meet in Iwakuni next month, if you haven't done so please sign up your athletes for events for our meet manager, Deshawn, can finalize and provide to Iwakuni.
Lastly, I apologize for the late notice as I have been extremely busy at work, but per CFAS instruction stated in our team constitution, it is time for our annual audit. For this, I am asking for 1 parent to review the number of members in the club, the value of our cash assets, current liabilities, estimate the gross annual income. This particular volunteer cannot be a board member or family member of a board member. Please let me know as soon as possible so we can schedule a time for the review.
