Swimmer's Code of Conduct

  1. I will arrive on time and ready for practice in my suit, cap and goggles.
  2. I will come to practice with a positive attitude and promote team spirit.
  3. I will follow the pool rules at all times, i.e. behave responsibly, no running, no splashing or dunking others, and do not use pool equipments toys.
  4. I will follow verbal directions from the coaches. At no time will disrespectful attitudes by any swimmer be tolerated.
  5. I will help put away all equipment without being asked.
  6. I will keep track of all my personal belongings and respect the property of others.
  7. I will clear the locker room as quickly as possible and not linger and play.
  8. I understand at no time will the following be accepted:
  • In appropriate language, i.e. swearing and/or derogatory comments.
  • Inappropriate or unruly behavior, including fighting or striking another athlete.
  • Interference with the progress of another swimmer during practice or at any other time.
  • Bullying or isolating another swimmer.
  • Stealing and vandalism.
  • Use or possession of any illegal substance, i.e. tobacco, vape, alcohol, drugs.

Parent/Guardian's Code of Conduct

  1. I will ensure my swimmer is rested, nourished, and hydrated.
  2. I will ensure my swimmer is prepared with all equipment for practices and meets.
  3. i will ensure my swimmer is at the designated place, at the designated time, for practices and swim meets.
  4. I will practice teamwork with all parents, swimmers and coaches by supporting the values of Discipline, Loyalty, Commitment, and Hard Work.
  5. I will NOT coach or instruct the team or individual swimmers at practices and meets, or interfere with the coaches on the pool deck. Any communication with the coaching staff should occur before the start of a practice or meet, or at the end of a practice or meet.
  6. I will demonstrate good sportsmanship by conducting myself in a manner that earns the respect of my child, other swimmers, parents, officials and the coaches at meets and practices.
  7. I will ensure my swimmer adheres to the pool rules.
  8. I will support my swimmer with encouragement and praise.

Consequence for unacceptable behavior

Disciplinary actions can range from, but are not limited to; verbal reprimands, repetitions or a drill, push-ups, sit-ups, etc., being sent home from practice or meets at the parent's expense, expulsion from the team, being barred from competition, or any other disciplinary action the coaches and/or board deems necessary if a member fails to adhere to the contract in part or in whole.
