Well Eric and I just arrived here in Yokosuka. I hope everyone had a minimally stressful day of traveling. For the meet tomorrow, warmups begin at 15:00 and the opening ceremony is at 15:45. Please be at the Purdy Fitness Center pool by 14:30.

Please ensure you have your Team suit, team swim caps, goggles, and it is recommended to have 2 towels (1 to dry off after events and 1 to stay warm).

There will be light concessions for sale. For bigger meals, the pool is across from the NEX food court and commissary. There are also off base conveniences such as Carl’s Jr, 7-11, etc.

For those who haven’t been here before, I can’t stress enough the importance of the Yoko Pon base shuttle. It is a much larger base than we are used to, and walking (although doable) will get tiring. The shuttle runs every 15 minutes between 7 or 8 stops throughout base.
